    Types of Scholarship

REWARDING SUCCESS IS A SEV TRADITION

We have been nurturing successful generations for 150 years with our Health and Education Foundation as well as with our high schools. We believe in equal educational opportunities and in providing the best education as a social service without financial concerns. So, we support our successful kids with scholarships. One in every six children in our schools are awarded a scholarship. This year, we are giving 47.4 million Turkish lira in scholarships. Thus we make sure that our successful kids grow up the way they deserve and become contributing members of society.

As SEV, we are among the biggest investors in education.

SEV schools including Üsküdar American Academy, İzmir American Collegiate Institute, Tarsus American College and SEV American College provide scholarships to students, who are academically successful or thriving in sports, arts or science. We generate these scholarships from our schools’ activities and from our benefactors.

The scholarships range from Academic Excellence Scholarships and Financial Aid Scholarships to Athletic, Arts and Science Scholarships based on the school and student’s needs, and each scholarship has its own conditions. The scholarship amount varies depending on these conditions and the amount may even exceed the tuition fee.

Our objective at the Health and Education Foundation is to raise individuals who are not only academically successful, but also are sophisticated and happy. This is why we care about our students taking part in sports, art events and competing in science competitions. We provide Athletic, Art and Science Scholarships to students who are successful in these fields.

New and continuing students, who are athletes, artists or researchers, can receive up to 50 percent scholarship for five years, which covers their entire high school education. A student can only receive one scholarship for their achievements in either sports, arts or science. These scholarships are considered excellence scholarships, thus students receiving this scholarship can also benefit from Financial Aid Scholarships.
