Born in 1983, Ali Uzun graduated from American Collegiate Institute in 2001, and Galatasaray University’s Faculty of Law in 2007. He attended the Erasmus Programme at Université de Rennes Faculté du Droit in 2006-2007. Embarking on his professional career at Derman Law Office / White & Case LLP specializing on international capital markets transactions, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and commercial and administrative litigation, Ali Uzun joined Pegasus Airlines in 2013.

Ali Uzun currently serves as the Head of Legal Counseling, Director of Sustainability and General Secretary at Pegasus Airlines in addition to his role at IATA (International Air Transport Association) as the Vice President of the Legal Advisory Board. During and following his undergraduate study he completed various academic programs on international relations, sports law, capital markets, and strategies for sustainability. An attorney-at-law registered with the Istanbul Bar Association since 2008, Uzun is an active member of the Galatasaray Sports Club since 2014.

Ali Uzun was elected as the reserve board member in December 2018, and as a standing board member in December 2021 as part of the Board of Directors at Health and Education Foundation, a role which he continues presently. Uzun also serves in the Legal Committee, Corporate Governance Committee and Inspection Committee of the Foundation.
